I took an unloved piece of furniture from the 1930s and completely transformed it into something very special. A gin/drinks cabinet inspired by the great William Morris, a textile designer and manufacturer from the Arts and Crafts movement of the same era as the making of the sideboard. I chose to paint the cabinet in what I consider to be the best paint made by Farrow and Ball for the mast 100 years ago in Dorset, England. More expensive than most, but this shows in the depth of color due to Farrow and Ball only using natural paints, the finest. Quality pigments. The material featured throughout is slightly waterproof, i.e. wipeable, and is the Strawberry Thief design. The cabinet was dismantled, prepared, undercoated also by Farrow and Ball and. 3 coats of estate eggshell no. CB6 raw tomatillos. A maintenance pack and touch-up paint will be included as well as a piece of hardware. The three handmade boards also accompany the furniture. Magnificent!
