Old solid oak carpenter's workbench (renovated)

This old solid oak workbench probably dates from the first half of the 20th century. Retaining the marks of its use in a workshop, it can now be repurposed as a console or a side table. Materials: entirely made of solid oak, this workbench features a thick top and a particularly robust structure. The wood shows a patina marked by time and work. Features: this workbench retains its old screw vice as well as the holes, mortises, and marks left by its various uses. Its solid legs are connected by a lower section that also provides storage space. Despite its generous length, it is shallow enough to be used as a console, bathroom furniture, or an island. Renovation: this antique workbench has been fully degreased, sanded, and treated against wood-boring insects, then sanded again. It has been intentionally left in raw wood to preserve the natural appearance of the oak and the many traces of its history. Dimensions: L188 x D55 x H77.
