Extendable oak dining table, Scandinavia, 1960s

Scandinavian-made dining table from the 1960s, with an oak structure and dark-lacquered oak top. Two 52 cm pull-out extensions significantly increase the table surface. The top has undergone a conservative restoration. Light proportions and the contrast between the different oak finishes characterize this Scandinavian dining table from the 1960s. The natural oak structure features four straight tapered legs and linear aprons, while the dark-lacquered oak top introduces a distinctive chromatic contrast while allowing the wood grain to remain visible.
