White cosmic rotation pendant lamp, created for artemide by ross lovegrove, a british designer with many awards. Size: Diffuser: ø 76 cm X h 25 cm. Cable: l max: 27 cm from globe to ceiling (it was installed). Halogen sources included: 2 X 57 w. Its large spherical lampshade made of injection-molded opaline methacrylate forms a light, airy volume around the light source and affirms the dynamic personality of the lamp. Its surface bumpy like a snakeskin draws beautiful geometric patterns. A painted aluminium disc located under the light source acts as a light reflector: indirect light reflects off the inner surface of the diffuser as much as possible without glare. When lit, this suspension creates subtle plays of shadows and lights.
