Stunning vintage modular table produced by JER (Fonderie Chenesseau, Orléans) around 1970. This iconic piece of French modernist furniture is distinguished by its white lacquered cast iron tulip base, its metal column adjustable by lever, and its wooden top with integrated extension. Its design, both functional and sculptural, is inspired by Eero Saarinen's tulip style, revisited through French industrial expertise. The mechanism is fully functional; the table can be adjusted in height and extended thanks to its central extension. 👉 A rare, robust, and elegant piece, perfect for a vintage interior, a designer kitchen, or a Space Age-style dining room. Condition: Very good overall condition, solid structure. Some signs of wear and slight marks on the tabletop, consistent with its age. Smooth and stable mechanism. Dimensions: – Tabletop diameter: 100 cm. – Adjustable height: 51 to 72 cm. – Extension: 50 cm. Materials: Cast iron, steel, wood. Manufacturer: JER – Fonderie Chenesseau, Orléans (France). Period: 1970s.
