Scandinavian Nightstand with Open Compartment

1950s-60s Scandinavian nightstand with drawer, adjacent open compartment and tapered legs. Scandinavian mahogany nightstand of asymmetrical design: the upper band pairs a drawer with a small metal pull with an open compartment, while the top, with raised side edges, recalls the small writing desk. Four tapered, splayed legs lighten the composition. The balance of solid and void is a theme dear to 1950s-60s Nordic design. Good condition. It may show signs of age and use. Please pay close attention to the photographs. AG446.
