A military clairon manufactured in the couesnon company, it is stamped in the outer part of the pavilion. Couesnon was founded in 1827 by auguste richard. In 1881, it became the world's largest manufacturer of musical instruments and was at the forefront of new techniques that earned it several consecutive years of prestigious titles at world exhibitions. This old brass bugle, dating from the 14/18 war, is "in its juice", no doubt it beat the pavement at length! It has traces of oxidation, and even if you have a good breath that will release 2 notes, it is now mostly dedicated to serving as decoration or for collectors. Weight 0.510kg. Height 47.5cm. Width 15.5cm. Pavilion width 14cm.
