Set of 4 dining chairs in Regency style or Directoire-inspired from the 1950s/60s. The backrest features a curved top rail and a central crossbar sculpted in the shape of marine knots, interlacing, or the figure eight, typical of English Regency furniture or French Directoire style. The front legs are slightly saber or tapered. The structure is made of solid wood stained mahogany/walnut with a slightly glossy finish and a beautiful patina. The seat is covered in a pink salmon/coral embossed jacquard velvet fabric with floral patterns. They are in good condition and sturdy. The seat is easy to remove for those who want to reupholster.
