Immersed from his childhood in a rock'n'roll universe, he witnessed the explosion of the punk scene at a very young age with his countless parisian concerts. Accumulations of toys and dried flowers, numa roda-gil's installations tell stories related to the world of underground culture. With her paintings, numa roda-gil places herself in the same logic: appropriating modern icons to give them a new life. Gouaches on kraft paper, they are inspired as much by cinema murals of yesteryear as by "nose art" by bombers or african shop fronts.
