Set of four dining chairs by Ole Wanscher for P. Jeppesen, model "Rungstedlund" PJ 34, in mahogany, upholstered in red velvet, Denmark, 1960s. Marked with a silver PJ medallion. These classic dining chairs feature a slightly inclined backrest, with the curved horizontal slat serving both as a backrest and a structural element. Their tapered legs evoke the saber legs of the 19th century, giving them an almost majestic elegance. Made of dark-grained mahogany, the chairs retain their original seat upholstery. Please note that new upholstery is recommended before use. While the original velvet cord is in excellent condition, with no stains or wear, the original foam is completely deteriorated. Restoration can be carried out before shipping by our skilled craftsmen in our integrated restoration workshop, ensuring the preservation of the pieces' value and their durability.
