Large glazed ceramic piece from the Art et Céramique workshop, located in La Valette-du-Var (Route de Nice) and active from the post-war period until 1990. The workshop is mentioned in a reference book on ceramics from the South of France. Decorative jug / pitcher with a sculptural shape featuring a double opening, glossy black glaze enhanced with acid green patches and a central purple band, mauve interior. An expressive piece, typical of the formal and chromatic freedom of workshops in the South during the second half of the 20th century. An object that is both decorative and collectible.
