Old Longchamps plate Terre de Fer – Model 1428 – Floral decoration & asparagus in relief – 39 x 23 cm

Elegant antique plate in stamped Longchamps Terre de Fer, model 1428. This piece features a typical scalloped shape from the late 19th / early 20th century, highlighted by a delicate polychrome floral decoration and a deep green scroll border. The centre of the plate is adorned with a relief decoration depicting asparagus, treated in a subtle green and blue gradient, adding volume and nuance to the whole. The quality of the glaze, the finesse of the printed decoration, and the relief work make it a refined decorative piece, ideal as a centrepiece, for wall display, or in a chic country setting. Very good overall condition. Bright glaze, well-preserved decoration. There are slight signs of use consistent with its age (see photos). No visible cracks.
