Antique French cabinet

Antique lis-clos cabinet, brittany late 19th century. Meticulous yet discretely handcarved oakwood. As being a central, multipurpose piece in relatively small living spaces, these cabinets served both as storage unit, and an extra bed by nightfall. Some later adaptations, some wear-and-tear, yet all in all an exquisite piece!.
