La Fonda chairs by Charles and Ray Eames for Herman Miller

With their striking silhouette and moulded fibreglass structure, these chairs harmoniously combine form and function. They were specially designed in the 1960s for Alexander Girard's Fonda del Sol restaurant in New York and embody a true contemporary movement. Bring home an authentic symbol of the golden age of American design. The chairs feature fibreglass seat shells and a light beige faux leather covering, as well as a lacquered and chrome-plated cast aluminium base with small pads at the ends. Their overall condition is quite good, with some signs of wear due to age. One has four stains on the seat and another is missing pads, please consult the photos! Set of 4 chairs.
