Beautiful vintage ceiling light, Lucien Gau. Made of metal and cut glass with a crystal effect from the famous Lucien Gau house. The Lucien Gau house is renowned for providing lighting in museums, operas, and theatres in Paris, as well as in luxury homes and hotels around the world. The cut glass is meticulously crafted to evenly distribute light. The gilded metal part is adorned with elegant patterns inspired by ancient friezes. The gilded/brass metal parts are slightly patinated. Circa 1950s - 1960s (60). Classic and timeless design. No label on the light fixture.
