Magnificent Gien dinner service – “Peach Blossoms” pattern, complete and in very good condition for its age. Rare and consistent pieces, made in Gien (Gien France castle hallmark). The service includes: • 20 dinner plates. • 12 soup plates. • 1 tureen with lid. • 1 gravy boat. • 1 salad bowl. • 3 serving platters: 1 oval, 1 round, 1 shallow. Decoration: Delicately painted peach blossoms with a gilt border. Condition: Very good; only slight wear to the gilding, consistent with the age of the service (approximately 50 years).
