It is characterized by its thick wool in unbleached tones and by its diamond-shaped geometric patterns, often black or brown. However, we now find them with brightly colored patterns. Originally, the beni ouarain carpet is also characterized by its very large size. Indeed, the beni ouarain tribe comes from the middle atlas, so it is subject to a harsh climate.
