Danish mid century teak chest of drawers with hidden vanity, 1960s

This vintage Danish mid century secretaire cabinet with a desk and vanity was designed and made in the 1960s. This chest of drawers is a fantastic example of high-quality vintage Danish carpentry that combines elegance and multi function. It is a perfect piece especially for smaller interiors, but also great addition to any bedroom. The cabinet consists one big and three small drawers. The larger one, while opened reveals a vanity interior with two small drawers and a mirror hidden under the countertop. While the drawer front drops, it can become small desktop, that can create a space for a home office while ensuring just enough place for storage, cosmetics, and decorations. The dresser features minimalist lines, but still is very decorative with many solid teak sculptural details. Additional dimensions: Depth with extended desk 57 cm. Upper drawers height: 5 cm. The chest of drawers has been fully renovated, the wood has been sanded, finished with a few layers of Danish oil, we made sure that drawers open smoothly and all mechanisms work properly. We leave minor signs of use that do not spoil the aesthetic and only confirm it is originality. We try to bring furniture back to its best look, still considering it is 60 years old.
