Vintage sculptural base for acrylic glass table, Italy, 2000s

Sculptural work made from a single block of acrylic glass. The uniqueness of this piece lies in the machining of a single block of acrylic glass, which forms the supporting column of this base. This column measures 10 cm in thickness, 28 cm in width, and 65 cm in height. To this structure are added a base and a support, also made of acrylic glass, each with a thickness of 4 cm, a depth of 30 cm, and a width of 60 cm. Together, they form an acrylic glass pedestal measuring 73 cm in height, 60 cm in width, and 30 cm in depth. This base is ideal for creating a table or console in the purest Hollywood Regency style. It is designed to accommodate a glass top measuring 140 to 180 cm in width (see the last photos). It is in excellent condition. The acrylic glass used, known as "Diamond, " is renowned for its exceptional brilliance and transparency. The support and the base feature a sculpted bevelled finish. The glass top is not included in the sale.
