Fishing storage chest fisherman's stool

This beautiful fishing chest will find many uses: it can obviously be used to go fishing, but it will also make an original and decorative storage for sewing equipment for example, or painting, or why not as a piece of sofa or bedside. It has a lot of charm with its two-tone skai seat (soudexvinyl brand) with relief imitating stitches, its pretty metal clasps. It is also very practical with its 5 compartments, three of which are divided by boards. It must be from the 50s or 60s. It is in good structural condition, solid and stable, but does not hide its age: the skaï is in good condition, still flexible, but has four small tears, two of which are almost invisible (2 on the front right corner, one on the left back corner and one at the left clasp). The metal parts have the patina of time and have surface corrosion. Wood also has the patina of time and use (scratches, traces of blows, a trace of a sticker, stains...). The interior is relatively clean but obviously has various stains and marks. And this despite careful careful cleaning: dusting and washing with the interior and exterior brush of the entire trunk. After this cleaning, I passed a little walnut husk and antique wax on the wood to unify the colors, and varnish on the 4 parts in wood veneer plywood. The shoulder strap, which I can provide you with, is in poor condition. It measures 45 cm in height, 38 cm in width, 26 cm in depth and weighs about 5 kg.
