Magnificent and extremely rare Scandinavian sideboard by the famous Danish designer Johannes Andersen, produced by Clausen & Son around 1960 (label on the back, see photo). Made entirely of teak and teak veneer, it consists of two full-height sliding side doors with hidden handles concealing two interior drawers and one adjustable shelf with brackets, and two central sliding doors with inset knob handles hiding another adjustable shelf, topped with two front drawers. The drawer bottoms are lined with a brown fabric (replaced). The quality of the piece is notable with the large frame construction of its front, the craftsmanship of the legs, and the fluidity of the lines thanks to the rounded ends. Width 215 cm, depth 51 cm, and height 78 cm. In perfect condition, although there are two small restorations at the back of the top (see last photos), which do not affect the overall aesthetics of the piece. This is a stunning sideboard with a very exclusive design, likely to become a focal point in your decor. Not to be missed!!!.
