2 Vitra armchairs by Eames

The Plastic Armchairs designed by Charles and Ray Eames in the 1950s were first presented as part of the "Low Cost Furniture Design" competition organised by the Museum of Modern Art in New York. The Eames Plastic DAW (Dining Armchair Wooden base) features a shell with organic lines that was originally made of fibreglass. Reissued by Vitra with a polypropylene shell, it still offers great comfort at an accessible price. The base consists of four legs made of stained and lacquered maple with steel tube crossbars. It is a small armchair ideal for extended meals.
