Table lamp of the house Pirouett in chromed brass and glasses in blue glass paste, art deco. This model is the 'Salon' model created in 1938 by the famous French house Pirouett, creator of the first articulated desk lamps in the 1920s. Ingenious and beautiful, this lamp consists of a base with a barrel in which the arm holding the projector slides to adjust the height and which can also be tilted. Its four-sided projector also orients itself back and forth and slightly to the sides. The illuminated area is thus perfectly chosen and the light is soft to the eye. The blue color of his glasses is superbly nuanced because in glass paste, a unique and divine model. A luminaire that has a real personality, a presence, all in restraint as the art deco period knew how to do so well. Its cast iron base hidden under the brass foot gives it perfect stability, especially for changing positions. The condition of the whole and chromium is remarkable. Bakelite switch, standard bayonet bulb, LED compatible. Dimensions: Height from 40 cm to 55 cm – Diameter of the base: 16cm – Lampshade: l22,5xD16 cm
