Large tripod lamp base in chrome steel, characterised by a sculptural structure with four curved branches. The design clearly evokes the formal vocabulary of Space Age design from the 1970s, featuring a dynamic and fluid aesthetic. The composition is based on a symmetrical assembly of metal blades forming a stable and visually light base, reinforced by two decorative brass discs contrasting with the chrome. The whole recalls productions in the style of the "Corolle" model from Maison Charles, without direct attribution. A strong decorative piece, ideal for a large cylindrical or conical lampshade. Sold without lampshade. ________________________________________ Technical details: • Designer: Not attributed. • Manufacturer: Not identified, likely European production, probably Italy. • Period: Circa 1970. • Materials: Chrome steel, brass. • Finish: Polished mirror chrome. ________________________________________ Dimensions: • Height: 64 cm (25.2 in) • Width: 33 cm (13 in) • Depth: 33 cm (13 in) • Weight: 5 kg. ________________________________________ Condition: Very good overall condition.
