Original and rare night light/perfume burner Napoleon 3

The bronze or brass metal assembly is covered by a translucent white porcelain dome, dotted with small holes allowing rays of light to pass through and decorated with green polka dots. It rests on 3 dragonfly-shaped legs clinging to a delicate grid, the bars of which they try to move aside to access the light. The dome was very well repaired following a break. It rests on a tray with a circumference decorated with a frieze of leaves on which aromatic plants can be placed. At its top, a small ball surrounded by a small grid on which a gadfly is placed, allows it to be lifted to access the electrical equipment and its incandescent lamp or to increase the brightness. The lamp is under a frosted candle-shaped tube. It looks like a flame. Its base is an edison. The wire is twisted with cotton insulation. The socket is made of 2 polished stone plugs as insulation connected by 2 decorated fittings. H: 11.5 cm diameter: 11.5 cm exceptional object, collection, decoration.
