Oval dishes in Mila earthenware (Algeria) Berber motifs, vintage 60s-70s

Two oval serving dishes (sold as a unit or pair) in mila earthenware (near constantine, algeria). Decor: blue/black and red berber motifs on a creamy white background, gold edge on a softly lobed border. Very good condition (a small factory defect on the back of dish 1, edged slightly worn in places on the plate 2 - see photos). Stamp mark: "[logo] / mila's faïence / s.n.i.c. Algerie ". The logo is probably that of the national society of chemical industries of algeria, restructured in 1981. These dishes will have been designed and made in mila on behalf of the now-defunct snic...
