A splendid set of seven small Danish porcelain dishes, made by the renowned Bing & Grøndahl (B&G) factory, which operated in Copenhagen until its merger with Royal Copenhagen. These charming pieces, dating from the 1960s-1970s, feature a modernist and vibrantly colored design of stylized birds, hand-painted with delicate graphic touches characteristic of Scandinavian design of the period. Each dish has an elegant teardrop or egg shape and bears the B&G Denmark mark on the underside, along with model numbers and handwritten signatures attesting to its handcrafted origin.
