Landscape painting by Tony Reniers

A beautiful oil on panel by the Belgian painter Tony Reniers (1923-2013), titled "Groenendek" on the back and dated 1984. Signed and dated lower left. Title of the work, date, dimensions, and the artist's official stamp are on the back. A few minor paint chips, see photos. About the painter: He was born in 1923 and died in 2013. A student of Lucien Hock, he lived in Wezembeek-Oppem (near Brussels, Belgium). Listed in the Paul Piron art guide. He worked both as a graphic designer for a major Brussels bank and as a painter. Since his retirement in 1984, he devoted himself to painting and was extremely prolific.
