Shoe cabinet entrance chest of drawers in Louis-Philippe Directoire style made of solid cherry wood with a beautiful warm amber hue. It is a clever and very functional piece of furniture. It features 2 hinged doors, one of which is a false fixed door on the left, integrated with a column of drawers opening onto a large compartment equipped with golden metal bars specifically designed to store shoes at an angle. There are 2 upper drawers in a band. Fluted uprights enhanced with small brass details, chiselled pull knobs, and a lock with its key. Traditional craftsmanship, probably dating from the 1980s to 2000s (a well-made French piece similar to Roche Bobois, Grange, or artisan cabinetmaker). Very good condition. Space-saving and shallow.
