Pair of Norwegian desk lamps in brass and lacquered metal, attributed to Høvik Verk, circa 1940–50. Particularly robust construction, with heavy circular bases, elegant curved brass arms, and adjustable shades. Integrated switches at the top. The painted metal parts have been professionally repainted in off-white. The finish shows some drips and assembly marks, particularly visible on the bases and shades. The brass retains signs of use and an age-related patina. Attribution to Høvik Verk to be confirmed. Dimensions: H. 30 cm × base Ø 11 cm. Norway, circa 1940–50.
