Floral single-arm wall lights, wall sconces, toleware, French vintage enamel.

Very pretty French vintage tole-ware single light wall sconces with a floral enamel design, featuring large lilies at the top of each sconce and a lily surrounding the bulb holder, which takes an E14 bulb (not supplied). Green foliage is present in the centre of each fitting. Please note that one sconce is larger than the other. Condition: The fittings are overall in very usable vintage condition with minimal signs of use on the enamel paint, a couple of chips here and there, and the candle tubes are a little worn at the tops. The wiring is original and has not been tested but appears to be in good condition. They look very pretty with their vibrant colours and have been given a coat of distressed varnish when made to enhance their rustic earthy charm. They would look fabulous in a country cottage kitchen or vintage-style setting. As mentioned, the wiring is original and features modern-looking 2-core cable. The bulb holders are small screw-in European E14 fittings, which can now be sourced in most countries. It would also be wise to have them checked by a competent DIY-er or electrician before installation, as with all second-hand electrical items. Sconce 2: 10 cm width at the widest point, 4 inches height, 34 cm depth from wall, 17 cm (6.6 inches). Fixed to the wall with hooks or screwed through the fixing ring towards the top.
