Brutalist ceramic pen holder, signed

Very elegant pocket tray or pen holder in chamotte stoneware with a beautiful and very original glaze: three main colors, indigo blue, brown and milky white, punctuated with gray or even silver spots. These colors recall the work of the American ceramist Albert Green or Jorgen Finn Petersen. The work and mastery for the realization of the glaze bring a nice contrast with the simplicity of the shape: a rectangle with raised corners and raw edges (or rather deliberately brutalized!). It is a beautiful artisanal work of modeling and even more of glaze. What I took for a simple mark in the stoneware seems to me today (after a few years of experience in ceramics) a signature! Unfortunately difficult to decipher. This ceramic is in very good condition, no cracks or chips: just a lack of glaze on one corner, original, as a reminder of the brutalist side of the shape and stains on the underside probably also original. It measures 28 cm in length by 12.5 cm in width and a maximum height of 4 cm (at one corner).
