19th century walnut draper's console table

Antique draper's console table in solid walnut from the late 19th century. We love the turned base, so unique and typical of drapers of the time. The base ends with a pretty tapering that contrasts with the curves of the body of the base. Its format is ideal for making a console in an entrance, with its shallow depth it will also easily find its place in a constrained space. Entirely restored by my cabinetmaker, it has a new pine top at the bottom, very thin and rectangular legs have been affixed to the back for ideal stability. Small brackets have been affixed under the shelves to make the whole thing totally robust. Small defects on the top may be visible, the patina is original. Two almost similar models are available for sale (the depths differ slightly). - dimensions - l 157.5 X d 33.5 X h 84 cm dimensions of the low shelf - l 145 X d 30 X h usable 58 cm height from the ground of the low shelf - 24 cm.
