Painting "an impressionist painting"

Painting on canvas depicting an impressionist painting a bush of flowers. Impressionism is a nineteenth-century french artistic movement characterized by relatively fine but visible brushstrokes, with an emphasis on the accurate representation of light in its changing qualities (often accentuating the effects of the passage of time). Impressionism was born from a group of paris-based artists whose independent exhibitions made them known in the 1870s and 1880s. This work tends to represent an impressionist at work. A painter, dressed very similarly to manet or degas, paints on the outside. It represents on the spot a bush of flowers.
