6 oyster plates in Limoges porcelain by Lourioux and LF

Set of 6 white porcelain oyster plates, signed by two prestigious porcelain houses from Berry and Limoges: 2 plates from Foëcy in Berry, signed Louis Lourioux, and 4 plates from Limoges signed Lafarge et Fils. Mid-20th century. The plates feature 6 shell-shaped indentations for placing oysters and a central well for a lemon wedge. Detailed polychrome patterns of fish and shellfish: 3 plates with very colourful designs, 3 plates with a more pastel and delicate decor. Ideal for mixing these complementary designs on a table. Gold rim on all 6 plates (worn on part of one plate, see detail photo). No chips or cracks. Possibility to sell individually or in separate lots.
