Large Louis Philippe mirror measuring 122cm high by 84cm wide, featuring a beautiful original gilding with a design of alternating matte and shiny gold channels, and a smooth, crackled finish. It shows signs of use and age, photographed very closely at times, to ensure that its acquisition is made with complete confidence. This mirror, with a gilded wooden and stucco frame, is in generally good condition. It was recessed into the wall, placed on a mantelpiece, and secured with three metal brackets (one on each side and one at the top) visible in the photos, and the wall was repainted in a "non-professional" manner, hence the green paint marks on the frame and the plaster chipping... The original mirror is in very good condition, with a few minimal defects (barely spotted and slight clouding in places) due to its age, but they remain very minor; the backing is also original.
