Persian carpet

Magnificent Persian carpet. These carpets are hand-knotted in Mashad. They often feature a large medallion placed in the centre, composed of beautiful floral patterns, a typically oriental design. The medallion is in shades of blue-red and dark blue, and the wool of the carpet is very soft. Mashad carpets often resemble certain Keshan carpets.
