Pair of model r-155 adjustable wall lamps in brushed aluminium by raak amsterdam, the netherlands, 1960s. Elegant pair of model r-155 wall lamps designed and manufactured by raak amsterdam in the netherlands during the 1960s. Each lamp features a slender conical shade in brushed aluminium, combined with a round white-lacquered metal wall plate and chrome-plated details. The shades are connected to the wall plates by ball joints, allowing them to be adjusted in different directions. This makes the lamps particularly suitable as reading lights or bedside lamps. The ball joints are slightly stiff due to age but remain fully adjustable and function as intended.the white interiors reflect a warm, focused light, while the small integrated switches allow each lamp to be operated individually. The lamps are in good original vintage condition, with some minor visible age-related scratches to the aluminium. An original raak amsterdam label is still present.
