German table lamp from the mid-century space age, glass and chrome, 1960s.

Impressive Space Age table or floor lamp with a hand-blown glass globe. The lamp features a clear glass diffuser in two colours that rests freely in a ring and can be tilted and rotated. It has a continuous tubular steel base forming a ring to hold the globe and a ring-shaped base at the bottom. The power line is inside the base with a flexible metal tube leading to the socket. The frame rests on a concave metal shell that fits perfectly with the globe. The lamp is in very good condition with signs of wear and patina.
