Eighteenth-century style chest of drawers in oak.

Louis XV style dark oak chest of drawers, entirely handmade by a cabinetmaker by trade in the 50s. Top in solid wood with molded perimeter. Beautifully curved front with four drawers (two small and two large, in three rows) each decorated with a beautiful bronze handle, each drawer having a functional key in the 18th century. The whole piece of furniture is pegged in the old way and reinforced with strong aged nails. The set rests on two volute front feet and two right rear feet. This dresser is very well designed, elegant and perfectly functional (the drawers are well sliding, deep and solid).
