Asparagus serving set

A magnificent and very complete asparagus service: it comprises 12 plates, a large platter, and two ceramic bowls, as well as a two-part drainer and silver-plated (I would say stainless steel) tongs. The ceramic pieces are beautiful, with their lovely mustard-caramel glaze and their fine, intricate relief decoration, which creates a sauce compartment in the plate. The platter has a raised central section to allow water to drain around the edge. This service dates from the 1970s, when this color, so fashionable today, was already particularly popular. It bears no maker's mark or stamp, but it is a very fine piece of work, much more refined and elaborate than Gien asparagus services from the same period! The entire set is in excellent condition; I think it has never been used, as the platter even still has its original label. This label tells us that the service was sold in a tableware shop in Loudun. I found the details of this shop; it was opened in 1955 by owners who were well-liked in the town and closed in 1991. The silver-plated items are in good condition, no stains, no corrosion, just a few fine scratches, relatively numerous but not excessively noticeable (these three pieces may have been used or perhaps cleaned too vigorously after being taken out of the display cabinet and just before I bought them). The ceramic pieces are in very good condition, just a small chip on the rim of one plate and a small chip in the glaze on another plate (an original flaw in my opinion). The plates are 24.5 cm in diameter, the platter is 33 cm in diameter, and the bowls are 11.5 cm in diameter and 6 cm high. I am not offering the "small parcel" shipping option integrated into Selency for this service, as I prefer to retain the flexibility to send items in two packages if necessary for secure delivery.
