Antique glass-fronted terracotta cupboard

This antique glass-fronted cupboard has been carefully restored, respecting its original charm. It has been meticulously treated against wood-boring insects and then repainted in a warm terracotta shade, with a velvety matte finish. The paint intentionally reveals certain irregularities in the wood and signs of age, including old pitting, which testify to its history and give it character. The interior in raw wood has been thoroughly cleaned, the glass panes have been replaced, and the lock is functional. A charming little detail: a lace curtain can be hung behind the glass thanks to three small hooks fixed inside the door. It is provided with the piece, allowing the choice to reveal its contents or to hide them behind the lace. With its slender silhouette and terracotta hue, this cupboard will easily find its place in a bedroom, hallway, living room, or kitchen, as a storage unit or small display cabinet. Dimensions: * Height: 176 cm * Width: 80 cm * Depth: 40 cm A carefully restored antique piece that retains the marks of time and all its charm.
