Beautiful veneer work on the top and drawer fronts: marquetry effect. Slightly overhanging top with scalloped edges. Typical Louis XV style chest of drawers with: Precious wood veneer. Likely rosewood, violet wood, or lemonwood. Beautiful marquetry work with contrasting floral motifs. Bronze ornaments in the form of acanthus leaves and rocaille motifs, and sabots. Rococo bronze mounts at the corners and on the front of the piece, highlighting its lines. Approximate overall dimensions: D 54 cm x W 112.5 cm x H 84.5 cm. Leg height: 34.3 cm. Lower crossbar height: 31.8 cm. Interior drawer dimensions: Top drawer: Width 79.3 cm, Width 38.3 cm and 44.5 cm, Height 16.3 cm.
