Elegant extendable table from the modernist era, typical of the functional design of the 1950s. Its light beige formica top, edged with a black trim, opens to reveal two integrated extensions that maintain the pure line of the piece and offer a generous seating capacity. The varnished beech splayed legs and the light oak apron give the whole a lightness and warmth characteristic of the aesthetic of the Glorious Thirties. There is a slight discolouration from use on one area of the top, uniform and without surface alteration — it simply reflects the natural patina of the original formica. A piece that is both understated and expressive, ideal for an interior that blends vintage and modernity. This is an anonymous work in the spirit of French modernist productions (Formica France, Chapo, Huchers). It would be perfect when paired with bistro chairs, for example. Open 200 cm.
