This exquisite ceramic mirror with its patterns of curls, stripes, and glazed waves comes from Austria's leading ceramic manufacturer, Gmundner Keramik. Combining traditional craftsmanship with modern techniques, the mirror was made during one of the most exciting periods in the company's history, when the "triumphal march of the 'Grüngeflammter' began" in the 1960s. The green band combined with the white glazed background forms the typical "green flame" and gives this mirror the recognisable look of Gmundner (declared intangible cultural heritage by UNESCO in 2021).
