Italian dining table with sculptural beech base and pink marble, 1950s

Magnificent large dining table made of stunning sculptural beech base, Italy 1950s. The wood is in excellent, not wormy condition and is polished. The heavy original marble top of 'Rosa Portoghese" (pink Portuguese marble) have been sanded and polished by a stonemason and is in excellent condition. The light rose and white marble is interspersed with elegant clear and darker gray color veins. The table is delivered in two parts.
