An old Provençal jug with a tulip decoration in slipware. Made of Poët Laval earthenware, marked with an impressed stamp underneath, numbered. Le Poët-Laval: a French commune located in the Drôme department. Pottery and art earthenware: artisans from Poët-Laval have been working with glazed clay since at least the early 18th century. Signs of use, a chip on the edge (photo). Period: around 1930-1940. Dimensions: height 17 cm, width 18 cm.
