Karakashian-Balian ceramic pottery vase 19th-20th century

Antique armenian, palestinian, ohanessian pottery vase in the iznik style. Handcrafted signed under the foot palestine karakashian-balian, late 19th early 20th century. Baluster shape, flared neck, small high foot with rounded base. Pink terracotta, hand painted and glazed. Unusual black/purple tint, with traditional plant motifs, turquoise blue, green, red, white/pink (transparency), foot with navy blue frieze and triangular motifs. 22.5cm high, 11-12cm max diameter. Very good general condition, some small losses, notably on the edge of the neck (3) and on the edge of the foot (5), and other discreet traces of time, cracking of the varnish. Approximately 750gr.
