Loir stoneware servant Thierry and Chantal Robert 60/70

Condiment set with two bowls by Thierry and Chantal Robert, who created "Les Grès du Loir" in 1960, sanded. Originally utilitarian pottery made from a local red clay, these days they are distinctive ceramics distinguished by their simple and authentic lines. Note the detail of the hemmed handle and the speckled brown effect, almost Japanese-style, in contrast to the beautiful blue-grey glaze. Handwritten signature of the artists' acronym under the base, "A" for workshop and their initials T, Ch. Good condition, dimensions: 18.5x13x8 cm.
