Still life full of symbolism in the style of the great flemish masters is represented by different elements: the apple evokes birth and fertility, femininity and voluptuousness. It is considered a living fruit, generating joy and pleasure, and hospitality. Orange symbolizes universal love. Christian art uses saffron to represent divinity illuminating the minds of the faithful. Orange also symbolizes autumn and its flamboyance. The orange district represents the moon. The oyster symbolizes humility, the true source of all spiritual perfection of a sage and a saint. The stone finds its symbolism in solidity and duration. Each stone has its symbolism. An almanac lists the main dates of the calendar. Religious festivals carry ephemeris such as the phases of the moon or the length of days (lunar and solar). In front of this stone, an old calendar is placed on a table. In this mysterious little painting, the apple is also synonymous with the original peach and the forbidden fruit. The orange is a symbol of wealth which goes together with the golden apple (2d apple on the right side). The oyster is an aphrodisiac element. A trace of signature in red is located on the side of the old calendar. On the stone is mentioned the word almanach. An old frame covered with rich gold powder has been added to remain in the style of the wealth of the flemish masters. This work has been split, a barely invisible restoration has been made by a professional. Dimensions of the frame: 17 X 23 dimensions of the work: 13 X 19.5 + 4 new collector's cds sealed in plastic, including 2 double cds, with new sounds (a total of 6 discs): - "6 bach suites " for cello in 2 versions without and with accompaniment. - "las espanas", in trio harp, cello and reciter on popular spanish themes - "bello cando impression", in duo cello and bandoneon, real "live" recording.
